What is Sustainable Energy Community?

If you are new to this blog, welcome.

Your first question is likely, "What is Sustainable Energy Community?" The answer is simple. We are a gathering place for ideas and solutions; an exchange of knowledge; the convergence of energy and action. This blog serves as a "think tank" for ideas, solutions, and implementation of changes that will reduce the carbon footprint all of us leave on our environment.

Using the power of the wind, the strength of the sun, and the energy of community, we strive to learn, educate, and implement solutions that will make our world, and our communities, a better place. With this platform, we offer our collective energy toward the goal of developing decreased dependence on fossil fuels, and increased awareness and utilization of sustainable and renewable energy resources.

Sustainable energy supports sustainable communities. If you share this vision, welcome, this is your community. Please feel free to participate, because this is not an individual effort. Sustainable energy, and a sustainable environment is an issue of extraordinary importance, and one which requires collective effort.

For more information before joining the discussion, feel free to visit SustainableEnergyCommunity.org, WindEnergyCommunity.org, and GeothermalCommunity.org. Please tell others about us, and do your part in increasing awareness and participation in the effort to effect change in the world around us, and to leave the environment in an appropriate condition as we turn over the keys to the next generation.
